Well, I do not have recording material, but I do have a microphone, and Steam can be voice chat, if someone wants to do a duel-commentary, I would be interested in that...Only, however, over the summer, and the other person would have to record the battle.
I have experience with RTW (TAoW) and although I'm certainly not a rediculously good player, I know the basics of 31K, and I'm a decent 15K player.

best thing to do would be simply download a free copy of fraps from somewhere considering u have mic.
as its very impractical to rely on someone else to duel commentate with u to get matches done. also that person can just do it by them selves; so it wont really being adding to the commentator pool .

also u know any other tw besides rome?

but yeah not really very helpful if u cant do it ya self, cause it wont be contributing to the commentator count here; which is what we trying to do by advertising positions.

fraps u can get for free anyway.

Ah, but the issue is my CPU, it's the very definition of crap. So, since I lag RTW on lowest settings without anything running in the background, adding something like FRAPS would cause the CPU to kill itself. So, doing something individually is (atm) not possible. But...I plan to try to get a better cpu to play R2, so if that actually happens, then I will let you know
And RTW is the only TW game that runs on my CPU. (Radeon 1050X!)

Hopefully I'll be able to get that upgrade, otherwise I'll be playing the wrong Rome next year!

illyrian, the bandicam recorder for free can work really well too if u dont wanna pay for it, u can record up to 10 mins, and after that u just have to hit record again, but thats no problem, also there will be a bandicam sign on the top that u cant get away, but that is no biggie. but yeah, i would recommend that rather then fraps though.

how experienced are u with total war also. As to do online matches yould need to understand how competetive online works. I dont commentate empire or med2 cause I dont know how they work . So to know the game online is kinda crucial.

I play RTW fairly regularly, and, although I don't win every game, I also tend to play some advanced players. I don't play some of them just because I just don't like them! Not naming names, but his initials are "Spartakus...."
Experience is not something you'll need to worry about (2 years or so)

To Demmy:
I have experimented with BandiCam and FRAPS, and unfortunately, I am getting 10~15 FPS max. As such, I don't think it's practical to keep this app active, until a time that I can run the games with reasonable efficiency. As for my personal channel, I will continue to drop occasional content, but for now, it will have to be externally recorded. As for duel-commentary, I will still be open to that, (Sorry Cap!) but don't count on it as a basis for your channel if you contact me about it! Just ask CapNero...I haven't been able to play with him once! I still visit the forum, or send me a message VIA Ytube.
