Hello good folks of Total War TV, fans and staff alike.
We've all played the typical Medieval 2 rules: 10K, no elephants, 6 max cav, 6 max of each unit card, and 2 max horse archers.
Looks familiar? It should be. We've played those rules up the wazzoo. But how about a bit of variation in life? I'm looking for rules and game setups that would make battles interesting and fun. Something outside of your typical generic total war rules. Can be anything for 1v1, teams, TvB (top vs bottom), FFA, siege, Last Man, Scored Resolution, etc. Everything will be considered ^_^
For Example: Since I'm also a bit a FPS gamer, I'm thinking of doing some "King of the Hill" type of game. And my Warhammer hobbyist in me is telling me to do some Capture and Control (Objectives) games.
So leave your suggestions here and I'll check this thread out every week for ideas.
Cheers, Ars Malleus Your friendly neighbourhood commentator
PS. Don't worry, I'll still do lots of straight-up 1v1's that we all love so much ;D

a king of the hill is probably a gud idea, first of all u got 2 ways to do this, like we can do 1 and 1 going at each other, the winner stands and the loser goes away. or we do all at once, but the all at once actually needs a high hill in the middle to make it fair.
obviously the ruleset must be scored resolution and such, or else the 1 on 1 king of the hill version will be totally useless. and some kind of hill there would also be nice.
like the 2 first factions face each other already at the top, and then when the loser is gone, the winner just needs to protect the hill from upcoming enemies, and since the winner has a depleted army, the hill can make it abit fair so that if he is really gud he can go on for 2-3 turns before dying...
well i cant think of more right now, but ill give some more inputs later maybe.
